Game Day

I wanted to start off by saying lets go birds.

I would have love to go watch the game live but flying just isn't an option for my right now with my bad leg.

Weekend has been good so far, but wanted to give an update on the X5 headphones.

They sound and fit great.  Charging case sucks.  really need to plug the in to charge and can see the piece that you hook into your ear is going to get messed up as it bends every time you charge.  I would not add these to the list of headphones I would recommend.

Happy Thursday

Happy Thursday Everyone.

Most of last weekend sucked.  Was Sick Friday and Saturday which is never fun, but then The EAGLES played and won on Sunday which made everything much better.

Then the week started.  I had some appointments which all went as expected.  Tuesday Went the Phils Tavern again for lunch.  Service and food were great, which I kind of expect by now.  I had the grilled cheese with bacon and it was bangin.  Also have to mention how good their pickles are, just the right amount of spice. 

I also got a new pair of Bluetooth headphones this week, the truely wireless earbuds X5.  Anyone who knows me knows that I love trying out new headphones but it takes a lot to satisfy what I want.

So far they have great sound and just as important great fit, I am able to move around without them coming out.  They only thing I am not so sure about is the charging case.  I am confused if the connection is good or not when I put them in there.  I guess I will need to use them for another week or see to see if they are all they are cracked up to be.

I also got the new iPhone XS and the iWatch 4.  I went with the XS instead of XS-Max due to the size.  I just like a smaller phone better.  I did get the 512g though, not that I am using anywhere close to the that much storage.   Took me until Monday to unbox them and swith to them.  I was using the iPhone X and iWatch 3. 

not really noticing any difference on the phone except for its a pain in the ass to re-enter all my password, not to mention all the 2-factor stuff.  The watch is much nicer.  The edge to edge screen makes reading it so much easier and all the updates are great.  I will start posting more reviews of electronics I get and places I go.  I know a lot of people so that on youtube channels, but I will be doing it all here.

Happy Thursday

It's Thursday again, so time to post.  Did some fun things since my last post, but need to start off by saying I was extremely disappointed the Eagles lost.  But life goes on.  My week was interesting, seems to be a time for blasts from the past.  I have someone who moved back to the are from NC who came over on Monday night.  was great seeing them and I am sure will be seeing more of them.  Tuesday night had a different friend stop over, had a few drinks and relaxed.  Yesterday went out to lunch at Phil's Tavern.  They portions there are big and the food and drinks never disappoint.  The bartender was great as he usually is.

Wednesday night, had a nice dinner with another blast from the past at my place.  So now we get to today.  Not sure what will be happening today yet.  I do know Football is tonight so some people will be at my place watching and will be making some brownies, really is starting to be a Thursday tradition.

I have my daughter coming over tomorrow until Saturday evening which is always fun.

Eagles Play Today and fun few days

I wanted to start by saying Fly Eagles Fly.  Lets go out and start the season 2-0.  I am looking for the whole team to be back from injuries but that isn't happening this week.  But as we proved in the SuperBowl, we have what it takes.

After I posted Thursday, had a friend come over to help make brownies while watching the game.

They came out really good.  I do need help when it comes to cooking anything.  It is just one of those things I am really bad at.  But that makes me eat out a lot and I will be posting reviews of everywhere I go. 

Friday was a pretty uneventful day, which had me wind up at the Valley Tavern at the Radison in Valley Forge.  They have Karaoke there on Friday nights which is always fun to see. Bartenders Dave and Brian are great.  Never leave you empty and make sure you are having a good time.  Managers and everyone that works there just make it great.

It’s Thursday so time to post.  Last week was opening football weekend which was fun.  It has been a pretty busy week.  I am very excited about the new Apple devices, time to preorder so I get everything on the first day. Just deciding which phone to get. Not sure I want to go with the max, might be too big.  Well I will post with what is decided.  I also went to VF casino for a night, was fun bartenders are great.  Was good to be up and around.

Eagles win. Happy Thursday

Eagles Won Thursday night 18 - 12 over the Falcons.  All the "experts" we picking the Falcons, but we all know what happens when you act like the eagles won't win.

I wound up having a few people over my place to watch the game.  Turned into a pretty good time although took me until now to fully recover.  I am starting to realize this bad leg is going to make things difficult for a while longer.  But I am getting better and I will get better regardless of any setbacks.

My daughter is over for tonight but just the one night this weekend.  So may just have to hit the casino tonight (VF Casino) .  Lots has been changing there so we will see how my review of the bars and restaurant goes.  Then next week it is back to the gym and try to get healthy.

And It Begins, Happy Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone.  I was going to go into this big thing about what this blog would be all about, but decided to just let it flow and based on comments, feelings and mood at the moment.  I won't get too long winded on the first post since the Eagles are on tonight, need to pregame.  Go Eagles.

This has been an interesting week.  Start of School for kids, I started eating healthier, not sure how long that will last but needed to at least try, started to work out again and for whatever reason several old friends have reached out to me for no apparent reason.  I haven't been out to eat or gamble this week, but will surely post reviews and pics when I do.  This week has been more about figuring me out and what I need to do to put myself in a better place.

My plan is to post as often as I can, however I will for sure post every Thursday.  I have found when reading different blogs many people say they will be posting daily and don't which is annoying to spend the time to go see whats new only to find out nothing.  I figure, just like in life, it is best to set achievable goals.
