Happy Thursday

Happy Thursday, This has been another fun week.  I had my youngest daughter at my place for the weekend.  And when my Ex picked her up, she brought a present for me back from my middle daughter.  A new Painting.

My Eagles lost on Sunday after blowing a 17 point lead going into the 4th Quarter.  Sixers have been playing so-so.  Haven't heard to much about the Flyers. But I will always support my Philly teams.

Had some people over for drinks, missed my Chicago trip since I had my daughter until later than anticipated.  I would cancel any trip any time for my kids though.  Now I need to get out there and try some new electronic products.  Hit some Bars and Casino's and have a great time.

Happy Thursday

This has been a good week so far.  Wound up going to VF Casino Friday night, where I went to 2 different bars.  First was the Valley Tavern for Karaoke.  Was a great time.  I actually sung but that might have been a result of the drinks.  Dave and Brian are the bartenders and they are great.  My glass was never empty and they made sure I could get around fine, even stored my cane behind the bar.  Cisco Kid runs the Karaoke part and it was great.

After that was over went down to center bar.  Frank is also a great bartender and made sure all were having a good time.  Then went on to play PiaGow, which is always fun.

I also made buffalo chicken dip for watching football over the weekend.  Turned out great.   Made it in a crock pot which I never tried before but turned out wonderful.

I have also been watching twitter a lot and all this political stuff is just funny at this point.  Everyone has their beliefs and sticks to them.  Only issue is most people won't let other opinions in.

Next week is Chicago and the Black Hat conference.  so looking forward to going and hanging out with other Network Security Pros.

Happy Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone.  Not much has happened since my last post, although the Eagles are playing tonight...Go Birds

This is also Cybersecurity Awareness Month.  I am due to go to Chicago towards the end of the month for the Black-hat Conference.  Which means a road trip both ways and trying out all new spots.  Will be fun to report on all of it.

Weekend is over

The weekend is now over.  The Eagles lost and at home which really sucks.  They looked horrible in the first half.  Turned it around in the second, but turnovers and penalties just destroyed them.  Defense didn't do that bad, but come on guys what is with the 10 yard cushion on every play.  The offense can't seem to not turn the ball over.  And the play calling, we need to run the ball.   Speaking of balls, if your down by 6 try for the 3 even at 58 yard.  trust the defense to hold and get the ball back with some time.

Fun Weekend so far

This weekend has been fun so far.  Friday my oldest son came over for some help getting his passport.  We got everything done, then went and had a drink and some lunch at D&B Plymouth meeting.

I hadn't been there in a while and it was nice to be back.  Service and food were great.  I realize now I need to start taking pics of the food to show everyone. 

Now it is time to start getting ready for some football.  Going to make some buffalo chicken dip, which I have never made, so lets see how that goes.

Happy Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone.  Not sure why my blog post took so long to show up, but figured I would edit it and put this at the beginning.  This week have been a fun week.  I have checked out some newer SIEM (Security Information Event Management) technology from LogRhythm.

I went to dinner at Redstone, which is always a fun place.  Great food, great service from the bartender.  Drinks were always flowing.  I would recommend for anyone to go there.  Best Buffalo Shrimp ever.

So just a fun week.  I will be posting a couple times over the next few days and then as always Thursday update.  May even get a little political to shake things up.
